I've raced a newer GTOs at an 1/8th mile track often. They really hate to be beat by " A Four Cylinder Neon". Unless the guy could get a huge jump at the line, I took them all. I love it !!!

And you followed that up with opening the power plate on your Needswings downpipe and reving at night so he could see the reflection of the pretty blue flames coming out the cut-out? haha, probably not but I've done it before. Not quite as impressive as a RWD burnout, but bad ass none the less.

I beat two of the 350hp models from a roll. Believe it or not, I like those cars. I hear they're supposed to be really nice cars to drive, a bit plain, yeah, but nice none the less. I wouldn't mind having one.

they are a nice car. i like the fact that GTO is stitched in the head rests...not too sure if I dig the gas tank right behind the back seat....

I do believe Ford tried the same thing with the gas tanks on the Pintos back in the mid-seventies. Kinda tragic for some folks.

yeah...chevy did the same with the old c-10 pickups...standard cab with a gas tank right behind you...:crazy:

wow..... i thought those GTO'S would be faster than us..... aren't they like 340 hp.... i'm not sure how much they weigh. :D

the 04's are usually pretty comparible to a mildly modded srt. the 05's are a different story, but still... with the srt being so easy to make fast, it wouldnt take much to beat one

yeah, i had all the basic boltons when i raced him....now that i have exhaust and the 02housing i wanna race him again :D Plus, i think another problem is that i was running way rich due to the stupid P0068/TPS Sensor Wire was bad....I been having that problem for awhile, but didn't know what it was.
