i'm looking to get a MBC but i'm not sure which is better and what the difference in them is. i've seen some that are dual stage and what not and i'm just not real sure what the difference is and which would be better for me.:raisehand

a agp wastegate actuator would be the best solution for a stock turbo vehicle. a mbc is not needed. unless you want to spend some big money and get a really expensive ebc, but you will still need some kind of stronger spring on the wga.

start off low and work you way up. i tried to adjust mine to how mprtklr's was set (had almost identical mods) and when we went for a test drive we hit about 25 psi.

:eekdance: is there really any difference in the dual stage and just the basic one? there is like a $60 price difference...

I think the dual stage has a switch that let you set two boost levels like a high low switch I may be wrong

No, you are right. On a dual stage boost controller you can indeed set 2 different settings and flip the switch for higher boost when you want to use it.

i had a dual stage, and it was pretty cool being able to switch from low/high boost. my problem was that i got it when i was a noob to the cxars, and i thought a bc on a stock car would let me change the boost, but it wouldnt, so i sold it... but it was definately nice when i had it, plus everyone always asked me what the switch was for:headbang:

There is absolutly nothing wrong with a $9 Home Depot/eBay special MBC. It's been 400+whp proven more then a couple times :)
