This our little car club based of of toledo but we have a few MI and IL members. We are all into the srt's pretty hardcore and like to work on the cars alot. Seems like most every weekend we have something going on

Brian (schlol) created the main page design as usual, and the forum colors.
I'm more technical than he is, he's more creative than I am so it balances out.

I talked to some people in the trans lab at work today. They told me if you run that trans without repairing the damage. Most certain your bell housing will fracture and split. They recomend removing the trans and having it welded. We can use the epoxy but they don't think it will hold up. I tried to weasel a new trans or housing but none avail. Caliber uses a diff. trans. My welder can mig alum.

i think most everyone will transfer over here. it is a better site i think. we don't have all of the drama the old site had. SRTforums is a good site if you want to read and learn, but forget asking a question. all they will tell you is to use the search button. which is understandable, but if you know the answer or where to find the answer, why not post it??

Black with machined lips are my favs for the red truck.. but I have seen a few others that I like too... I am still debating just buying some 300 a set takeoffs from ebay and powdercoating them gloss black.. but man some of those rims have just enough bling but not too much for me.

Couple nights ago my buddy was racing a gutted CRX, and a turbo h22 hatch. The CRX had a S/C 1.8l w/50 shot. It hung with the SRT up to 160. SRT has S3, MPx exhaust, CAI, 60mm TB, ported intake manifold, etc.

Makes me wanna turn back to the dark side, lol

This is almost exactly what I have on my car. Are these real two peice? I have Ro_Ja Forumla 7's, 18x7 gunmetal with a polished lip. The real cool part about them is that the inside is polished as well! :)

So two things. First thing, I'm kinda pissed. Innovative says it's gonna cost me over $300 to fix my turbo. I need to find out about this warrenty. Needless to say, this ticks me off.

Second thing, I'm going to switch the Focus over to Amsoil. Hopefully it'll make it run a little better and squeeze some more MPG out of it!

right click on "user cp" at the top of the page and select "open in a new window"

on the left click on "edit options"

the 3rd section down the page is titled "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

change the selection box to "no email notification"

what that will do is when you post in a new thread, it will add it to "your subscriptions." so for example, you post in here, it will be added to your subscriptions. so when you get online all you have ot do is click on "user cp" and it will show you any thread you are posting in that have had new posts in them since you last viewed the thread.

another trick is, when you go to your "user cp" and there is a thread that has a/some new posts in it, you can click on the little down arrow just to the left of the thread title and it will take you to the first post that you have not read yet.

now you will only have to have one window open, which will allow your computer to run quicker too.

so we took soulstrife's car apart. basically i think the alignment shop lied to him. they told him he has over -1.5 degree of camber in the front. i showed him mine which is set @ -1.03 and by comparing the two there is no way his is anywhere close to having that much negative camber. and it looks like the toe is way out on the passenger side, the side that is rubbing.

we did take the passenger side spring & strut assembly apart and repositioned the spring. the driver's side looked ok so we left it alone.

and thank you for helping me! i can't find that print out they gave me, but what i am going to do is buy real camber bolts...non-mopar ones and have my service guy get it aligned right. you think the back look ok? if so I'll just order front camber bolts ... less money :)

I could see he was happy about what he had done,
He had turned my car into major Mopar fun.
But he had to be going, he had much to do,
Lots of Turbos to be clamped in hours too few
And I heard him exclaim as he snatched 2nd gear…
“Have a smooth running Christmas and I’ll see ya at Milan Next Year.”

P.S. I test drove my car down the street and back again.
It took just two minutes where it used to take ten.:smily_ang
