As of today, when I go WOT my boost gauge seems to vibrate between 12-14psi....and my turbo becomes unusually loud....basically stock as far as boost is concerned...just JMB upp, injen sri,agp fmic....any help would be appreciated...leak maybe?

did you just install the injen sri? you are just not used to hearing the turbo. wait until you get an agp wga. it will sound like a jet engine taking off.

nope...Ive had the sri for a few months now...I'm just more or less worried what my boost gauge is doing

its sits @ 0 when the car is off...gauge is a stewart warner...my stocker took a shit a few months after I got the car...Im just wondering why my needle literally vibrates between 12-14psi.when it does this ,the needle looks like its 1/4 inch wide..it vibrates that fast.. its kinda like I have a leak and the turbo is working to get regular psi....It only starts after 10 psi...was just wondering if any of you guys ever had something like this happen......

mine vibrates a little from time to time, but yours sounds like a pretty bad case. i wish i could offer more help but i really don't know where to start.

Seen this before, it can be a bad boost gauge

did a leak test and found a few leaks (SURPRISE!).....but the gauge is still on PCP:headbang: ...I've got a new gauge coming in the mail monday , so we shall see....It has to be the gauge...she still runs nice and strong, and I see nothing wrong under the hood to tell me otherwise...

How do you do this "leak" test??
I think my ACR doesn't peak as high as my gf's SRT. :?:

I havn't done one myself or even made one but word is you need a schrader (sp?) valve (like on a tire), pvc cap, hose coupler and two hose clamps. remove stock/aftermarket intake, clamp one end of coupler to turbo inlet, the other end clamp the pvc cap w/ vavle screwed in the middle, use an electric pump to pressurize the car to about 18/19 psi and listen for leaks....
first thing to do on a new srt...or used...is tighten all the hose clamps on the intake/intercooler hoses...

and the only fuct part of the install was that I had to switch the wires around...as in black to white and white to black...I guess they were back asswards on the gauge
